This is a specially produced glossy bookplate bearing a genuine piece of RAF WW2 silk parachute. Every airman who was required to bail out of their aircraft became a member of Irvine Parachute Company Caterpillar Club. These bookplates look amazing in books such as Al Deere’s Nine Lives (pictures for representation only - this price is for the bookplate only I am afraid). We have a limited number of these bookplates - each one will have a slightly different piece of parachute but of a similar size.
