This is a highly detailed pencil drawing by Steve Teasdale on sepia Canson card. It features a portrait of the legendary US fighter ace Clarence ‘Bud’ Anderson. Underneath the drawing is the professionally mounted genuine pencil signature of Anderson. This bookplate is a size which will fit most books on the air war in WW2 and would look amazing mounted in a frame of its own or alongside a print.

Clarence Emil "Bud" Anderson (January 13, 1922 – May 17, 2024) was an officer in the United States Air Force and a triple ace of World War II. During the war he was the highest scoring flying ace in his P-51 Mustang squadron.
