This is a beautiful 1965 dated 1st ed William Kimber Hardback by ECR Baker. It tells the story of RAF Gladiator & Hurricane Ace Marmaduke ‘Pat’ Pattle, Pattle is widely recognised as the forgotten highest allied fighter ace before being shot down in Greece. He has been credited with between 40-50 enemy aircraft destroyed. This special copy has been Remarqued with an original pencil drawing of Pat Pattle by Steve Teasdale. It also features the highly collectable pencil signature of Patrick Dunn, Pattle’s Commanding Officer on 80 Squadron.
Paddy Dunn is mentioned many times in this story of an amazing fighter pilot and he himself finished the war as an ace.
We have been lucky to have two of these highly collectable books in recent weeks and both featured different signatures. They are not easy to come by in this condition however so we cannot guarantee another will come into stock any time soon.

Superb Pat Pattle 1965 1st Ed Original drawing Remarqued & Patrick Dunn Signed
