This is a starboard inspection panel from a Sea Harrier. It has been enhanced with the hand painted fin markings of 800 Squadron NAS by Steve Teasdale. The back has been signed by Steve but the front can also be signed on request. This panel would look fabulous framed up. 
Falklands War: At the outbreak of the 1982 conflict, 800 squadron, under the command of Lieutenant Commander Andy Auld, was operating from the carrier HMS Hermes. Its strength was increased to twelve Sea Harriers, with more added during the conflict from the Atlantic Conveyor merchant ship.
Combat Success: The Sea Harriers of 800 NAS were highly effective, helping to destroy 17 Argentine aircraft in total without any air-to-air combat losses for the squadron.
