This is a genuine full newspaper from the height of the Battle of Britain on 16th September 1940 when they were reporting on the significant day before, which has become known as Battle of Britain day! On that day Royal Air Force fighter command drove off wave after wave of German attacks. The newspaper has been enhanced with an original charcoal and pastel drawing of John Hemingway, ‘The Last of The Few’ by Steve Teasdale. We think this would look stunning mounted in a frame and become a real talking point. The newspaper is in remarkable condition for its age with little yellowing and creasing.
