This is a full 8 page original Daily Mirror wartime newspaper with some interesting stories. It has been enhanced with an original charcoal and white pastel drawing of ‘Forces Sweetheart’ Dame Vera Lynn on the front page. The drawing, by Steve Teasdale has been delicately created on the fragile 80+ yrs old paper to produce a one-off and unique image, ready for framing. The newspaper is in excellent condition, with no tears or holes and little browning. Steve was commissioned to create an official portrait whilst Dame Vera was still alive, signed and endorsed by her to be released upon her passing.
