This is a 2015 first edition hardback telling the story of John ‘ Hoppy’ Hopgood, who was second in command on the famous Dambusters raid of 1943. The book has been Remarqued with a large original pencil portrait drawing of Hoppy by Steve Teasdale on the title page. The book also features a bookplate signed by 5 Dambuster raid aircrew : Johnny Johnson, Ray Grayston, Grant McDonald, Les Munro and Fred Sutherland. The book has also been flat signed by 617 Sqn veteran John Bell DFC. The book is in ‘as new’ condition.
