This 2016 Folio Society edition of Paul Brickhill’s The Great Escape is brand new. These folio society editions are extremely well put together, with stunning graphics on the cover, extra information included from the original story and a slipcase to keep it all in perfect condition. This copy has been Remarqued bySteve Teasdale to include a sepia pencil portrait of Jimmy James, no 39 out of the tunnel. It also includes a large Remarqued original pencil drawing on the fly leaf of a Stalag Luft 3 ‘ Goon’ Tower. Mounted underneath the drawing is the genuine signature of Ivor Tonder who was 20th out of the tunnel.
This is a very collectable copy with two highly relevant escapers’ signatures and two large original pencil drawings to match!
