This is an original pencil drawing by Steve Teasdale of Henry Maudslay’s Lancaster crossing the Dutch coast on the way to attacking the Eder Dam on the night of the 16/17 May 1943. It has been signed in pencil by the artist and seven veterans of the Dambuster raid : Les Munro, Johnny Johnson, Beck Parsons, Ken Lucas, Fred Sutherland, Ray Grayston and Grant McDonald. It is rare that this many Dambuster related signatures are offered together on one original drawing.
