Three pieces of cockpit Perspex from Heinkel 111 8/KG4 based at Fassberg. This Heinkel was shot down on 5 July 1941 during a night raid by Beaufighter Ace Ian Joll DFC. One of the crew was killed in the crash but three were taken prisoner. Ian Joll flew with 604 Sqn throughout the Battle of Britain with John Cunningham. Finishing the war with 4 night kills and two damaged he shot this particular aircraft down over Oakford in Devon. Three genuine relics of the Nightfighter war which would mount well with a print of a Beaufighter or mosquito.
