This is a bookplate bearing the signature of Luftwaffe Fighter Ace Lt Gen Walter Krupinski. It has been enhanced with an original pencil drawing by Steve Teasdale.Walter Krupinski ( nickname Count Punski ) joined JG52 in 1940. He was awarded the Knight’s Cross with oak leaves by Adolf Hitler in 1944. In April1945 he flew ME 262’s with Galland’s squadron of experts in JV-44. The bookplate is roughly 20 x 13.5 cm in size and will fit most books.
