This is a beautiful original charcoal and white pastel drawing on grey Ingres pastel paper by Steve Teasdale, in the style of war artist Cuthbert Orde. The drawing image is approximately A4 in size and comes with a piece of genuine WW2 silk parachute for mounting underneath the portrait if so wished.

John Allman Hemingway, DFC, AE (born 17 July 1919) is an Irish former Royal Air Force fighter pilot. He served during the Second World War in the Battle of Dunkirk, the Battle of Britain, the Allied invasion of Italy and the Invasion of Normandy. Following the death of Terry Clark in May 2020, Hemingway became the last verified surviving airman of the Battle of Britain. He was shot down four times during the Second World War. At the time of listing he is very much still with us.

This would look stunning framed up.
