This is a difficult book to find in any format or condition and is much more widely available as a paperback - but still relatively expensive to purchase. Devil’s Guard is a first-hand account of an unregenerate Nazi who escaped the war crimes trials in Europe after WW2 and, along with a group of comrades, joined the French Foreign Legion. Sent to Indochina to fight the Viet Minh, the German battalion killed and tortured the enemy in the way the had become accustomed. Unfortunately the book has seen better days - it is a well read ex-library copy with a loose spine & browned pages. The book is very collectable however, due to the rarity of the dustjacket and the hardback format. We challenge you to find another copy anywhere at this price.
