This 1991 hardback book is in perfect, unread condition. Hajo Herrmann was a Heinkel Bomber pilot during the Battle of Britain and went on to be one of the Luftwaffe’s most successful leaders, founding the Wilde Sau Focke Wulf 190’s, attacking RAF bombers in almost suicidal attacks. The book features a large original pencil drawing of Herrmann by Steve Teasdale. The genuine pencil signature of Herrmann has been professionally mounted underneath the drawing.
Hans-Joachim "Hajo" Herrmann (1 August 1913 – 5 November 2010) was awarded the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross with Oak Leaves and Swords.
