This 2009 First Edition hardback was presented personally by wartime British Icon Dame Vera Lynn to Battle of Britain veteran Terry Clark DFM. Terry was the last British survivor from the Battle of Britain and was extremely delighted to meet Dame Vera at a signing he was attending. The book has been enhanced with an original pencil drawing of Vera by Steve Teasdale on the title page. Steve was the artist who was chosen to create Dane Vera’s official portrait, which was released posthumously on her passing. The book also features a bookplate signed by Terry Clark DFM.
