This bookplate measures roughly 17x12 cm and is perfect for mounting in most books on the Fleet Air Arm / Bismarck attack etc. The genuine piece of fabric came from the aileron of Fairey Swordfish LS326, one of the last remaining airworthy swordfish in the world. She served with 836 squadron during the war and starred in the movie ‘Sink The Bismarck’. We have a small number of these so the piece of fabric may be slightly different to the one pictured but it will be very similar.
