This is a 1987 1st Ed hardback detailing the remarkable story of a young Stirling Bomber air gunner who survived bailing out and managed to escape over the Pyrenees to Gibraltar. The book is flat signed by the author Cryil Penna and features a lovely pencil drawing of a Stirling bomber by Steve Teasdale. The book is in very good condition with some slight shelf wear to the dustjacket.
