This is a lovely 1991 reissue copy of Peter Townsend’s amazing account of the Battle of Britain. This thick book is in excellent condition and has been enhanced with an original portrait drawing of Peter Townsend by Steve Teasdale, in the style of the contemporary Cuthbert Orde drawing.  A genuine Peter Townsend pencil signature has been professionally mounted underneath the drawing to create a highly collectable copy of this great book, by one of the RAF’s best fighter leaders of the Battle.
