This is a lovely 1978 first edition hardback copy of A Lighter Shade Of Blue by Battle of Britain fighter pilot Sir Christopher Foxley-Norris. It has been flat signed by Sir Christopher ( unusually quite a large and bold signature as most, especially later in his life are very small ). The book has been enhanced with a large pencil portrait of Sir Christopher by Steve Teasdale on the flyleaf. This book is notorious for having badly sunned spines and grubby dustjackets but this one is in excellent condition. There is some slight fading to the board edges of the actual book but this is not visible with the dustjacket on.
A very nice copy to add to any Battle of Britain collection.
