This is a first hand account of a 19 year old Californian who found himself flying over Germany in an 8th Air Force B17 bomber in 1944. His 34 daylight missions included Peenemunde and Schweinfurt. Whilst by this time the bombers were escorted by allied fighters the account still gives a vivid description of how terrifying the trips were. This book was only ever launched  as a paperback copy we believe. The book is signed by the author Charles N Stevens and has some light creasing on the cover but is a great reading copy. Comes with a photocopy of an American newspaper review.
