This is a specially produced bookplate roughly 19x12.5cm in size which would fit most books on the Battle of Britain. The bookplate features an original pencil drawing of a Hawker Hurricane in the markings of 501 Sqn fighter ace Ken Lee. Underneath the detailed drawing is a plate signed by the following 7 veterans of 501 Sqn during the Battle of Britain: Ken Lee, John Gibson, Ken Mackenzie, Eustace Holden (rare), Tony Pickering, Peter Hairs and Gordon Parkin.
