This is in our opinion the best ( & first ) of the Men of The Battle of Britain books. This 1989 dated first edition is in super condition with just a hint of sunning on the dustjacket spine. It has been seriously enhanced with a large original pencil drawing of 92 Sqn fighter pilot Tony Bartley by Steve Teasdale. Tony Bartley’s genuine signature is mounted underneath the portrait.  What also makes this special is that the book has been personally signed by a further six Battle of Britain fighter pilots alongside their biographies in this book. These include: Joe Kayll (rare signature), Johnnie Johnson ( leading allied fighter ace), Buck Casson, Dennis David, Bob Doe and Tony Pickering.A superbly collectable copy of this definitive book on the aircrew who bravely fought through the Battle of Britain in the Summer of 1940.
