This compact book is in very good condition, considering it was produced only 16 years after the end of the war. The whole dustjacket is bright with no fading, slightly grubby on the back with one small tear. The book itself is in very good condition with some browning and an original booksellers sticker from the period. This scarce and collectable book has been further enhanced with an original pencil portrait of Guy Gibson VC by Steve Teasdale. A FACSIMILE Guy Gibson signature has been professionally mounted underneath the drawing to give a lovely period feel to the book.
