This is a very nice 1954 1st Ed copy of the classic story of Douglas Bader by Paul Brickhill. The book is very good for the age, with a whole dustjacket ( browned on the inside & slightly grubby but not faded spine ). The book itself is very nice, with clean pages and very little browning. This collectable copy has been further enhanced with the genuine signatures of Hawker Hurricane aces Douglas Bader and Bob Stanford Tuck, mounted underneath an original sepia drawing of a Hurricane by Steve Teasdale on the first flyleaf.
A lovely copy for any serious collection.
